From November 10 to 12, Far East Group Singapore successfully conducted a three-day CO₂ Transcritical and Subcritical Training at its manufacturing facility in Changzhou, China.

The program aimed to deepen the industry’s understanding and application of CO₂ refrigeration technology, a natural and environmentally friendly refrigerant, and attracted professionals from China, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Taiwan, China.

The training combined rigorous theoretical instruction with hands-on practice. Richard Chung, R&D Director of EDEN Refrigeration, provided a comprehensive explanation of the theoretical principles behind CO₂ transcritical and subcritical systems.
In the practical session, Far East Group Singapore opened the doors of its CO₂ Refrigeration R&D Laboratory in Changzhou for the first time, allowing participants to tour and examine the GreenCool CO₂ Transcritical Packaged Unit in actual operation, accompanied by detailed energy efficiency testing demonstrations.
This direct, on-site learning experience gave attendees an in-depth understanding of the GreenCool CO₂ Transcritical Packaged Unit - from operating principles and performance advantages to installation standards and operational procedures.

As one of the Group’s key initiatives to accelerate the adoption of natural refrigerants, this CO₂ systems training marks an important step in Far East Group Singapore’s strategy to advance green technologies and foster a collaborative industry ecosystem.
